HFH Chambers (regulated by the SRA, UK) is the legal unit of HFH.  HFH Chambers lawyers all trained at top 10 global law firms and are expert advisors in a number of areas.  HFH Chambers advises on regulation, investment management company and investment fund set up in several jurisdictions ( BVI, Cayman, Cyprus, Dubai, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Malta, Mauritius and Singapore) and is a leader in establishing funds in Malta.  

HFH advises on establishment of UCITS, Professional Investor Funds SICAV, Listed fund/s (technical and trading), self-managed or externally managed fund structures. We provide detailed advice on structuring of share classes and incentives for seed investors. The legal team is lead by HFH partner Ms. Ashminder Kaur. (Ash is an Oxford University graduate, former Clifford Chance lawyer and English solicitor with over ten years experience (including several years advising on Malta funds) and several published articles who has been quoted in the financial press; Ashminder has been an expert panellist for amongst others, Bloomberg on start up funds and the Arab Financial Forum on bank regulation and structural risk, she also contributes to Regulator consultations and specialises in working with start up managers. Ash also advises start up managers through our advisory services and will pull everything together neatly and simply for you). ADVISORY

HFH provide a broad range of advisory services for funds, including advice on marketing strategy, materials, incentives and introduction agreements, fund structures, counterparty introductions, comparative costs and jurisdictions, regulatory and related issues.  It should be noted that the chance of investment from major seeders or fund or funds can be as low as 1/350 and that a diverse and broad marketing strategy needs to be used to maximise your investment, particularly in this climate.  Building a track record within a fund is also central to your marketability and a realistic and cost aware approach to building your business will increase your chance of success.  We will plan your approach with you to maximise your success.

HFH economics advisor Dr Andrew Lilico sits on the Shadow Monetary Policy Committee (UK) and was Chief Economist of leading UK think tank Policy Exchange. He is currently a principal with economics consultancy Europe Economics.  Andrew advised the European Parliament on the AIFM directive, he has also advised governments around the World on economic and regulatory issues. Frequently seen on radio and television in the UK,  Andrew is recognised as one of the leading economic experts in the EU.  Through HFH Andrew is available to advise on regulatory and macro economic issues relevant to funds as a resource for managers.
